  The building of a Dream!

Step1. Hull comes out of the mold after a two week cure time.

Checking to insure a level bottom with no hull twist.

She is level and now the real hard work begins. These pictures are of the hull, Stringers and bulkheads. Also the transom before it was removed and after.

The Deck is out of the mold and ready to be flipped over and installed. Deck is installed and drums full of water help add weight to keep the deck flush and tight to the hull while the hull and deck are  glassed together.

Hull and Deck are now one unit. Fuel tanks are installed along with the water and waste tanks. The shaft hole is cut out along with the forward "bunk room."

The back wall and top are constructed.

The roof, side and rear walls are installed. The helm takes shape and the electrical panels are installed, along with the roof and air conditioners.

Transducer installed and checked for true and level installation.

Motor, trans, shaft, rudder and all associated running gear installed and bottom painted. Dive ladder installed and helping with getting on the boat!

Name installed and rub rail going on...

The Newton gang who made the boat. (not everyone is pictured)

Loaded on the trailer and to the ramp we go. Police escorted as we drive through the neighborhood and then out into downtown Slidell... And yes that is a Ford F250 pulling the trailer.

Brian from Newton doing last minute checks....All is good!

Time to meet the water!!

The following are pictures of the trip home (to Carrabelle, FL.) The trip took 16 hrs, which I did over a two (2) day period.

Finally Home at "Moorings Seachange" Carrabelle, FL.
